3.18pm: korean style popcorn from ardelle at work with khanh & valter
3.32pm: mandarin at work


6.56pm: white rice, steamed egg with lap cheung, salad (baby spinach, tuna, flaked almonds with soy/sesame oil dressing), salmon with teriyaki sauce at home with jonathan


7.04pm: apple juice and pimms at home with jonathan
9.55pm: apple juice at home

that looks like a meal from a restaurant. did you make that salmon?

yeah, salmon is really easy to cook.

heat pan, add some oil, put skin side down and cook for 3 minutes, turn and cook for another 3 minutes put the lid on and cook for a couple more minutes. then remove from pan.

then to make the teriyaki sauce you combine butter, mirin, soy sauce, sake, sugar and ginger. after you've taken the fish out of the pan just put that sauce mix in, let it simmer down a little (this happens very quickly) then dish it over the fish. easy.

You're giving salmon tips to Valter? But he seems like the King of Salmon...whereas Pork is your speciality!

you're right... he's much more a fish person than i am. but i think he usually just cooks his fish in the oven. i don't think he ever cooks it in a frying pan.

pork is my eating specialty. not really my cooking specialty!
